The video shows how easy it is to slice pineapple. Cut the top portion off and use any one of the slicers shown here to slice the rest of the pineapple. There are two versions available, one plastic ($9.99) and the other steel ($19.99), I would go with steel because of durability reasons. The OXO steel version also has a good review in America's Test Kitchen.
