Google removed this special doodle (dedicated for the Asteroid 2012 DA14 passing very close to Earth), after it posted because of the recent meteor incident in Russia according to Cnet.com. Google said the following to ABC News:
“Out of respect for those injured in the extraordinary meteor shower in Russia earlier today, we have removed today's doodle from the Google home page.”
